Our local temperatures AND home prices are rising here in Reno-Sparks - month over month, it has increased by 5.3%. Whether you're looking to buy or sell, conditions are looking good - nationally we're seeing competition start to level out a bit, while still providing great equity to sellers.

As we leap towards June we have seen good news across the board for both buyers and sellers. We’ve seen an increase in active inventory and new listings which translates to an increase of possibility or buyers and more time for sellers. This increase in inventory is welcomed and expected as we’re heading into the busiest season for this industry.

We’re seeing a continuation of market conditions like bidding wars and properties going for over asking price - I will be honest, this market is not for the faint of heart. But fear not - seller’s, you’re sitting in a great position, and to all the buyer’s, have patience and you will find the perfect home.

The market is HOT, with no signs of cooling off anytime soon. As we head into spring and summer, expect to see more bidding wars, more properties selling for above list price and more tension on our already short inventory.

Marie’s claim to fame began when she was about 19, and continued as she released books and more. She speaks of the art of the KonMari Method, which uses six basic rules of tidying.
